Sterile Surgical Gown

Sterile surgical gowns are worn as a barrier to fluid and microbial transmission during surgery. Generally known as “hospital gowns” collectively, they are also referred to by many as patient gowns or medical gowns. Not to be confused with surgical gowns, which is the protective clothing worn by surgeons and operating theatre staff.
